Q: What are the strongest and best dividend-paying Chinese companies?

A:In the current economic environment, I'm often asked about reliable Chinese dividend payers. Right now, I recommend two strong dividend payers on my China Strategy Buy List. This includes the number-one offshore oil driller in China and the largest telecommunications service provider in Taiwan.

Both companies are government-sanctioned oligopolies. The offshore oil driller is sanctioned by Beijing, paying a 3.7% annual dividend. And the telecommunications company is sanctioned in Taiwan, paying a 5.3% annual dividend.
